Dr. Gary Aston-Jones in the Director of the Rutgers Brain Health Institute, managing a large brain research lab with many researchers. While much of this interview is about treating addiction with a relatively new class of sleep medications, Dr. Aston-Jones acknowledges that addiction and dependence are very different, and we do discuss iatrogenic injury to the brain, caused by psych drugs, such as benzodiazepines.
